The inhabitants of this ancient village dedicate themselves to growing beans, potatoes, barley, potatoes, and corn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Near Cachicata village is the famous Chachicata quarry, from where pink granite stones were extracted to build the famous fortress of Ollantaytambo.
